Like It or Not, Hard Times Are Coming - What Will YOU Do?
Folks, like it or not, normalcy bias or not, hard times are coming.
The sad thing is that people have bought into the whole Hollywood apocalyptic idea.
This idea sells a lot of cool books, reading about people running off to the woods to some secret hide out.
Or fighting off all the zombies ensuring you damage the BRAINS so they don’t get back up again.
What is coming is an economic catastrophe and from that civil unrest. This is a fact.
It has nothing to do with the rapture, the tribulation or any other left behind ideas we may have read in a really great book series.
I am putting together at least a four to six week series on what we need to do to weather the storm.
The storm I am talking about is due to depression or hyperinflation. Something is going to snap and the first 90 days, 6 months, 12 months are going to be critical. How well you are prepared is what will make the difference.
Either you will be REALISTICALY prepared, or you will become part of the chaotic herd that will riot in the streets.
What is going to happen when gas is $10.00 a gallon?
What are you going to do when it takes half months of wages to buy 1 weeks worth of food?
What are you going to do when you get that pink slip and are laid off? Think it can’t happen? Losing your job in an economic catastrophe will be common place.
What are you going to do to make sure you and your family makes it?
Think you can get on food stamps? Think again. Obama just cut Food Stamps 8.7 billion just last week.
Think unemployment is going to be there? You first have to qualify and those who do only get a pittance of what they earned. How will you and your family make it then?
Do you understand the picture I am painting?
Remember the Rodney King riots in LA?
Imagine that, but all over the US, even in the small towns.
Think the police will be there to protect you?
NO... they will protect the banks, the city halls, government buildings from being destroyed by a bunch of VERY angry people.
So they will not be there to protect you or bring about order. AND if they do, it will be martial law much like we saw in Boston.
SO... how long can you hang?
DO you have REAL supplies on hand, OR all this cool guy Rambo stuff that the movies portray?
God does not drop pennies from heaven or magically grow $20.00 bill trees in the back yard.
He did not drop an ark out of the sky for Noah and he did not all of a sudden fill Joseph's silos full of grain.
Here is what scripture says…
Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Proverbs 30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
Proverbs 20:4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.
Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
That is what God’s Word says!
